The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal shooting Sunday night in suburban West Palm Beach.
Deputies responded to shots fired in the 5600 block of Coconut Rd. at about 11:16 p.m.
When deputies arrived, they learned the victim, identified as Nikenson Valentin, 22, was transported to a local hospital by friends.
A short time after he arrived at the hospital, Valentin was pronounced dead by hospital officials.
PBSO said the fatal shooting is being investigated as a homicide.
No motive or suspect information is known at this time.
