WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Two men who ran a $3.2 million investment scam in Florida are heading to prison.

A federal judge on Tuesday sentenced 58-year-old Scott Strochack to 32 months in prison. Seventy-three-year-old Norman Strell was sentenced to 42 months behind bars.

The Palm Beach Post reports the company's co-founder Jonathan Turner died in August while in federal custody.

Federal prosecutors say the trio defrauded more than a dozen people by claiming they were investors in real estate and distressed businesses. The company's website promised investors hefty return, which they used to bankroll lavish lifestyles.

Prosecutors say Strell and Turner used investors' money to buy a $1.5 million home where they lived with Strell's daughter, who was engaged to Turner.

The judge ordered Strell and Strochack to report to federal prison Dec. 6.
