BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. — Three new bucket stations have been built at Oceanfront Park at the Boynton Beach city beach.
The stations hold several buckets for people to grab and fill with trash while they are at the beach and are located at each entrance to the beach.

The sign at the station reads “Please help keep our beaches and oceans clean. Grab a bucket to pick up debris while you enjoy your day at the beach."
“Brilliant, I love to take morning walks and I often take a plastic bag,” said Sue Nersrallah.
The buckets were new to many beach visitors, but they feel the concept will catch on quick as more people learn about them.
“When it catches on, we will need more buckets,” said Nersraellah.
Dara Currie grabbed a bucket and found several pieces of trash on the beach in five minutes.
“The beach is that much cleaner!” Currie said.
The bucket stations were provided by the Beach Bucket Foundation in partnership with the City of Boynton on Beach Parks and Recreation.
