ON SUNDAY GROUPS OF RESIDENTS, environmentalists — On Sunday groups of residents, environmentalists, and activists stood on bridges and causeways rallying for clean water across Florida.

In Delray Beach participants waved signs from the top of the Atlantic Avenue bridge with messages reading "Delray Stands United for Drinking Water" and "#CleanWaterFL2020" as motorists and pedestrians passed by.

It's part of a state-wide "demand clean water" effort to push for more reform and water protection from the Florida legislature.

Similar events were held at the Hillsboro Boulevard bridge in Deerfield Beach and the Stuart Causeway in Martin County.
