Florida is a hotspot when it comes to human trafficking.

It's ranked number three in the country, based on calls to the national human trafficking hotline.

In 2018, the state had 367 human trafficking cases reported.

The hotline received nearly 900 calls from callers in Florida.

There are red flags to look out for. Experts said victims won't be free to come or go at will.

They will also often be fearful of police and exhibit signs of physical trauma.

The victims will not have a passport or say that someone else is holding their passport.

If you suspect someone is a victim, call the national hotline for human trafficking at 1-888-373-7888. You can also text "HELP" to 2-3-3-7-3-3 which spells "BE FREE."
