At least four people have been killed and as many as 20 others have been injured after a gunman opened fire at an Industrial Park in Hesston, Kan., according to local media reports
At about 4:30 local time, the shooter pulled up to Excel Industries and shot a victim in the parking lot before running into the building. A suspect matching the same description also reportedly shot at cars in two separate location.

According to the local sheriff's office, the suspect is believed to be an employee of Excel Industries. Authorities have identified the suspect as Cedric Ford.
According to KWCH, police dispatch has confirmed the shooter was shot and killed by law enforcement. He was armed with an AK-47.
Two victims are in serious condition, another is in fair condition. Three other victims are currently en route to local hospitals.
As of 8:20 p.m. ET, officers have surrounded a home in nearby Newton, Kan. It wasn't immediately clear if the police activity was related to the shootings.
Hesston is about 30 minutes north of Wichita, Kan.
