El Paso police held a briefing Sunday morning giving updates with the latest about the El Paso shooting and the suspect involved. Federal and Texas prosecutors both plan to file charges against the suspect that could lead to death penalty.
Just after 10:30 a.m. on a Saturday morning, El Paso became the latest American city where a man with a gun went to work killing as many people as possible.
This time it was a Walmart near a busy shopping mall.
According to Texas local authorities, twenty people were killed and more than two dozen were injured.
El Paso Police say they arrested a 21 year old man on a street near the edge of the store. His home address indicated he is from the Dallas area in North Texas——more than 600 miles from El Paso on the Mexican border.
