The Supreme Court sided Tuesday with faith-based pregnancy centers in California in a case that pitted abortion rights against free speech. The ruling was 5-4.

Crisis pregnancy centers will no longer be required to inform women about their medical licensing status.

The Hill reportsthis is a blow to a California law that requires clinics that are against abortions to post information telling women where they can get low-cost procedures and contraception from the state. It's a win for crisis pregnancy clinics.

Justice Stephen Breyer filed the dissenting opinion and was joined by Justices Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Unlicensed facilities most post disclaimers both at the business and in advertising stating they are not licensed medical providers, The Hill reports.
