Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan officially announced this morning that musician Paul McCartney is bringing his "One On One" tour there this October.

The show is scheduled for October 1 at 8 p.m. EDT at the LCA.

Tickets start at $59.50 and are expected to go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, May 1. You can snag them at OlympiaEntertainment.com, The Fox Theatre and Joe Louis Arena box offices and at Ticketmaster.com

LCA let the cat out of the bag early with billboards touting the announcement.

Overnight, a number of electronic billboards started showing an Oct. 1 concert date at the Little Caesars Arena.

The Little Caesars Arena had also teased a large concert announcement on its Twitter page Monday. They said people would be “amazed.”

McCartney, 74, is currently touring in Tokyo this month. He has four more scheduled tour dates.

McCartney is a two-time inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame both as a member of the Beatles, and as a solo artist. He also has won 21 Grammys.

His performances in Detroit have been limited in recent years. McCartney had a one-night only show in 2016 at the Joe Louis Arena as part of his “Out There” tour. Before 2016 he had not toured in Michigan since 2011.
