Mom saves driver from tanker fire on way from NICU

INDIANAPOLIS — A woman gave birth on Sunday and helped save a man from an exploding tanker on Thursday.

It’s been a busy week for Holly McNally.

She was on her way back from visiting her son in the NICU when the crash happened and flames erupted. The wall of flames was caused by a tanker hauling jet fuel which overturned as it was trying to exit the highway.

Holly McNally and another truck driver named Mitch Navarre ran up to the flaming big rig. Another explosion sounded as the helped the driver out.

Officials said the driver is Jeffrey Denman, 59, is in critical condition.
