Drivers don’t always get caught scamming the carpool lane. But when they do, they get a ticket.
A Washington State Patrol trooper caught a man driving in a Tacoma-area HOV lane with a cardboard cutout of the Dos Equis beer spokesman, “The Most Interesting Man in the World.”
The motorcycle trooper snapped a photo of the embarrassed driver. The Dos Equis man appears unfazed.
“We’ll give him an A for creativity,” the police department tweeted.
The ticket was $124, enough to buy a whole lot of six packs.
