For those who put safety above everything, New England is the place to live.

According to an analysis by Wallet Hub, Massachusetts ranks first in road safety and third in home and community safety.

Other categories ranked by Wallet Hub include financial safety, workplace safety and natural disasters safety. 

The Top 10 safest, according to the report, include:

1. Massachusetts
2. Vermont
3. Minnesota
4. New Hampshire
5. Hawaii
6. Utah
7. Connecticut
8. Rhode Island
9. Virginia
10. Maine

The safest when it comes to natural disasters? Hawaii, believe it or not.

If it's financial safety a person seeks, he should head to Minnesota. And Rhode Island is the safest place for workers, according to the study.
