Kraft Food Groups announced Tuesday the company is voluntarily recalling about 242,000 cases of the original flavor Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Dinner.
The company reported that some boxes might contain small pieces of metal. Only the 7.25 ounce boxes of the original flavor with "Best When Used By" dates of Sept. 18, 2015 through Oct. 11, 2015 were impacted.
Of those boxes, only those with "C2" directly below the date on the individual box are impacted, according to the press release. The "C2" shows the specific production line that the product was made.
Some of the packages are in multi-pack units that could have different dates and manufacturing codes, according to the news release.
No injuries have been reported. Consumers can call Kraft at 1-800-816-9432 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. for a full refund, according to the news release.
