Keurig, the popular single-serve coffee brand, has issued a recall of 7 million coffee makers because of a burn risk.

During brewing, water can overheat, spray out and cause burns, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The recall affects 6.6 million Keurig MINI Plus Brewing System with model number K10 in the U.S. and 564,000 in Canada. The affected units have a white sticker on the bottom with an identification number. That number will start with “31” on recalled units.

People with affected units should call Keurig at (844) 255-7886 or visit www.keurig.com for recall information.
