John Boehner will serve a third term as Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives after a vote today.
In total, Boehner earned 216 of the 408 votes cast. Twenty-five Republicans voted against Boehner. Reports indicate that is because they believe he is not conservative enough.
This will be Boehner's third two-year term as Speaker.
He represents Ohio's 8thdistrict, which includes Butler, Clark, Darke, Miami and Preble counties, and a portion of Mercer County.
