It’s just a black suit, but among kids like Justin Taylor, the “Invisible Man” Halloween costume is a big hit.

“How many of your friends are wearing the same costume? – Five,” said Taylor.

Some Halloween stores said the black “Invisible Man” costume sells 40 percent more than other colors. While they couldn’t say why, Taylor gave us an idea.

“’Cause no one could see who you are,” Taylor, who plans to wear the costume this Halloween, said.

But some moms worry.

“It’s a hazard,” said one mom 7NEWS reporter Sally Mamdooh spoke with.

But Taylor’s mom said he and his brothers could only wear it if they wear necklace lights.

Another mom said no amount of light is good enough.  She said being invisible at night is just too risky.

“Sometimes parents are with their kids but that doesn’t make a difference. Your kids are excited, they had a ton of candy, you turn around for a second and they are in the street,” said another mom.
