JACKSONVILLE, Florida — Authorities are investigating after an infant was found dead in a day care center van in Jacksonville, Florida.
#JSO Homicide Unit is on scene at a daycare in the 5800 block of Lenox Avenue in reference to a deceased infant that was left in a van. Media will be addressed at 3:15 p.m.

The infant girl was found in the van at about 1 p.m., about five hours after the van was used to pick up children.
Jacksonville firefighters reportedly tried to revive the baby and took her to the hospital, but she could not be saved.
The center cares for about 14 children, authorities say.
Officials have not decided what charges will be brought forward at this time.
