A group referring to itself as the "Islamic State Hacking Division" posted online a list it claims includes names and personal information of members of the U.S. military.

A senior defense official confirmed the incident Sunday with NBC News.

The online posting was in English, according to Reuters, and said the group had hacked military servers, accessing databases and emails to get the information. About 100 people are in the list, according to reports.
