Denver restaurant to serve customers in domes during winter months

Limited to outside dining only, some Colorado restaurants are preparing to serve diners during the cold and snowy winter months.

"My Brother's Bar" in Denver has purchased these individually heated solar domes for outdoor dining.

The so-called snow globes will be heated by the sun even on the coldest days.

If it's not enough, each one is also equipped with individually-controlled space heaters as well as exhaust fans to cycle air out of them while still keeping the space warm.

The dome-shaped tents cost more than $1,000 each and can comfortably seat six people.

The restaurant owner says the plan is to give each dome its own theme and allow people to specifically reserve their preferred experience.
