If U.S. Congressional candidate Mike Webb taught us anything on Monday, it’s that one should always check your Internet tabs before sharing a screenshot of your browser.
Webb caused a social media firestorm when he posted an image along with a story he shared on Facebook… but he forgot one tiny thing.
The politician, who is running for Congress as an independent after losing the Republican nomination in the eighth district of Virginia, had what appeared to be porn site tabs open on his desktop.
The risqué tabs read, "Layla Rivera tight body" and "Ivone sexy amateur.”
To top it off, Webb reposted the same screenshot a second time just after 6 p.m. That post referenced references "Layla" and "Ivone,” and seemed to indicate that Webb was the victim of a virus.
As of Monday night, several hours after the post went viral, it was still on display.
Mashable notes, “A quick Google search of those phrases — purely for research purposes — shows the Layla Rivera post on several pages including the popular PornHub site, and the Ivone phrase cropping up on several porn sites, including RedTube and PornyLust.”
