Highway robbers reportedly stole an estimated $4 million in gold from a tractor-trailer Sunday while it was stopped on Interstate 95 in Wilson, North Carolina.

According to WRAL, the transport truck was pulled over for mechanical problems. Two armed security guards said they were approached by three armed men driving in white van. They were tied up and taken out to the woods.

By the time they got back to the truck, three barrels of gold were gone.

The FBI and the The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office are investigating, The Associated Pressreports. The security guards were employees of TransValue of Miami, Florida.
