So, a woman got on Facebook to show the world her new Chewbacca mask and it’s probably the greatest thing you’ll see all week.
Candace Payne jumped on Facebook from her car Thursday to live stream herself opening a new Chewbacca mask she bought at Kohl’s.
“Hey,” she begins with a smile. “I’m really excited to share with you something I got.”
Payne says she had to make a few returns to the store, and while she was there she found a very special gift to herself as a birthday gift. “It’s part of my birthday joy,” she says.
The mother of two makes very clear in the video that while some might assume she bought the mask for her son, in fact, it is for her. “This is mine, when it’s said and done, at the end of the day, this is mine that I bought,” Payne insists. “I’m gonna keep it for my own.”
“I’m gonna take it out of the box, and I can’t wait to show you!” the woman loudly exclaims.
As she begins to reveal the amazing, noise-making Chewbacca mask, Payne again reiterates, “Once again, this is for me, not for Duncan, not for Cadence.
And it’s at this point that Candace absolutely loses it. You’ll have to watch to the end to see what we mean.
“It’s the simple joys in life,” Payne says in the post. “Everyone should have a mask like this and a mirror. Hahahahaha. The most joyful wookie ever!!!!” she adds in a comment.
The video has now been watched over 70 million times.
We could all use a little Candace Payne in our lives.
