It started innocently enough with Wendy's promoting its "4 for $4" meal.
Burger King's social media team took notice. The chain has been promoting its own value deal, which offers one additional item — a chocolate chip cookie.
Burger King may have sweetened the deal for consumers, but it clearly soured any relationship with Wendy's.
