An elderly woman was found by a drone in a corn field in North Carolina after the local county's sheriff's office investigated a missing person's report.
The Randolph County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded Sunday morning and launched a search for the woman using a drone and K9.
The search was slowed due to difficult terrain and a corn field. However, the drone pilot was able to locate the missing person by air within 25 minutes.
The sheriff's office said the family expressed their gratitude for the quick response.
