TEN MILE CANYON, Colo. — (NBC) - Fresh snow led to a massive avalanche along a Colorado interstate that was caught on camera by drivers Sunday afternoon.
Video shows a huge wave of snow rolling down the mountain and onto Interstate 70.
According to the person who took the video, most of the snow in that avalanche did not make it to the road and no one was injured.
A second avalanche shortly afterward closed both sides of Interstate 70 for several hours.
The Colorado Department of Transportation said they will have teams survey the area Monday morning.
No injuries were reported.
