United Airlines officials are investigating an incident where one of their flight attendants deployed an emergency slide after the plane arrived to the terminal.
It took place Monday afternoon at Houston's Bush Intercontinental Airport.
According to an official with United Airlines, the incident happened after flight 1246 landed in Houston from Sacramento.
The flight attendant intentionally opened a plane door and inflated the evacuation slide when the aircraft reached gate C-43 and came to a full stop.
United Airlines is reviewing the matter and has removed the employee from flying duties.
All of the other customers got off the plane normally and were safe.
The aircraft is back in service.
