(NBC News) A group of brave beach-goers helped save a struggling tiger shark in Hawaii on Sunday.
Several swimmers helped pull the shark to shore after noticing it was tangled in fishing lines off the shore of Oahu.
They frantically worked to remove two fishing hooks in the shark's mouth, and then raced back into the water to release it.
Expert says although those who helped the shark risked being bitten, it was a good thing to help get the hook out of the shark's mouth.
