(CNN NEWSOURCE) A sinkhole opened up at an intersection in a city in eastern China, and the cave-in was caught on camera.
A policeman is seen on surveillance video pointing to a depression in the road.
Then, dodging traffic, the officer brings out traffic cones to mark off the location.
He alerted drivers and pedestrians to what would become a big cave-in.
It happened Thursday in late afternoon traffic in the busy city.
Soon after, a crack in the road turned into a sinkhole more than six feet deep.
Traffic kept moving through the intersection avoiding the hole.
