CANNES, France (AP) — A couple of years ago, Selena Gomez had more Instagram fans than anyone. But she’s no fan of social media. She says she sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are “terrible” for people her age.
She says posting endlessly on an endless number of topics leaves young people “exposed” online _ and that frightens her. What’s more, Gomez says it’s “probably impossible” to make online portals safe for young people.
She made her comments in France where she’s promoting her new movie, “The Dead Don’t Die.”
