(NBC NEWSCHANNEL) A photo of President Donald Trump and the First Lady posing with the Rhode Island teacher of the year went viral thanks to the teacher's 'fan-tastic' pose.
The photo was taken by a White House photographer in April when the president hosted a teacher of the year event.
But it didn't get any attention until recently when Niko Giannopoulos posted it on his Facebook page.
He said he carried the black lace fan to "celebrate the joy and freedom of gender non-conformity."
