(WCAU/NBC) - A stolen sport-utility vehicle with a teenager behind the wheel slammed into a Philadelphia store, nearly causing a tragedy.
Surveillance video from the Frankford Deli shows a pregnant clerk and another woman sitting behind the counter, completely unaware of the approaching vehicle.
Suddenly the SUV crashes through the wall, throwing the women to the ground as items from the store shelves rain down on them.
Genesis Dejada Torres, 19, her unborn baby and three other people in the store miraculously escaped serious injury.
Police said the suspect was driving a stolen 2017 Nissan Pathfinder about 100 mph when he lost control and crashed into several other cars before slamming into the deli.
The driver was arrested at the scene, but police are still searching for other suspects who may have been in the stolen SUV with him.
