President James Garfield once said, “Man cannot live by bread alone; he must have peanut butter.”

Tuesday is National Peanut Butter Lover’s Day!

So, when it comes to peanut butter do you like creamy or crunchy?

Peanut butter has been around for quite some time and dates back to the Aztecs and the Incas, according to Wikipedia.

The Peanut Butter Lover’s Day website says peanut butter is consumed in 90 per cent of U.S. households, and Americans spend almost $800 million a year on peanut butter.

It’s a great source of protein and healthy fats, so spread a little on some bread and indulge!
