A Louisiana mom went viral when she offered up her son's yard work services for free as punishment for a three-day school suspension.
According to KSLA-TV, Shreveport resident, Demetris Payne, took to social media as a part of his punishment. She posted to a local Facebook group offering her son's yard services for free.
"My son has been suspended for three days from school for discipline. He will do your lawn service, he will rake your yard, mow if you supply the mower, pick up trash, or wash your car for free. Maximum three hours. If anyone has a rake they would like to donate will be awesome."
Payne ended the post by saying he would do it all for free," Payne stated in the post.
Payne told KSLA she had so many responses that she had to start scheduling his work.
She said her son returned back to school Tuesday, and that she had since met with all his teachers, setting up a plan to ensure he stays on track.
