(Wochit News via The AOL.on Network) Delta pilots were forced to make an unscheduled landing halfway through a trip on January 22nd, after a confrontation between two flight attendants.
Delta Air Lines is apologizing to passengers. The airline says the actions of the crew members did not reflect the professionalism expected of employees.
The Aviation Herald said Delta flight 2598 was headed from Los Angeles to Minneapolis last month when two flight attendants got into a fistfight.
The captain decided to land in Salt Lake City.
The plane was on the ground for about 80 minutes before resuming the flight.
A spokesman said the airline sent a letter of apology to the plane's passengers and offered them travel vouchers or miles in the Delta loyalty program.
