NIZHNY NOVGOROD, Russia — A number of blue-colored dogs were found near a closed chemical factory in central Russia.
The head of a local veterinary clinic said the cause of the change of fur color remains unknown so far, but the clinic is working on establishing the chemical agent that caused the color change.
Dogs captured on the video have visibly different fur color intensity.
If the dogs' lives and health are not under threat, they are expected to be released after undergoing sterilization.
So far, despite the huge public interest in the dogs, the clinic is yet to receive any adoption proposals.
