(CNN) - Guinness World Records has crowned a new oldest living cat.
Scooter, a Siamese cat from Mansfield, Texas, turned 30-years-old on March 26.
His owner, Gail Floyd, was there the day he was born.
Scooter is also quite the traveler. Floyd says Scooter has been to 45 of the 50 American states.
The previous oldest living cat was a 26-year-old cat named "Corduroy" from Sisters, Oregon.
Guinness says the oldest cat ever was “Crème Puff” of Austin, Texas, who lived 38 years and three days.
That's more than double the average life expectancy of an average cat.
