A man accused of recording himself vandalizing a marked patrol car and posting the video has been arrested, according to the Martin County Sheriff's Office.

The video shows a person walking across the trunk, roof and hood of the vehicle and then making an obscene gesture.

The car was parked outside of the Treasure Coast Mall at the time and damage was about $2,000, the sheriff's office said.

Detectives accuse 20-year old Ryan Stump of Jensen Beach of being the amateur filmmaker.

MCSO posted its own video of Stump dealing with paperwork on a separate matter when detectives arrested him on a new charge of criminal mischief.
