Wisconsin man leads chase in dump truck, charged with OWI

A Wisconsin man is facing his fifth OWI conviction after heled police on a chase in a dump truckand attempted to get them off his tail by dumping the truck's load. 

Theodore Tamminga of Randolph was allegedly behind the wheel of the dump truck as police chased him. Police dash cam video captured him dumping the load of dirt and rocks on the road. He later ran off the road into a field and got stuck in the mud.

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office was called about a family disturbance on Wednesday, where Temminga reportedly took off in the truck. 

A deputy tried to pull over the truck but Tamminga sped off. 

Tamminga has been charged with an OWI - fifth offense, along with eluding an officer and driving on a revoked license - second offense. If convicted he faces a total of 14 and a half years behind bars.
