In the wake of a tragedy, we've seen people doing what they can to help.
At a scene with so much grief, sadness, and despair what can you do make things better?
Sometimes it's the small things.
"I am here to do anything I can," said Julia Rodriguez from Deerfield Beach.
She doesn't know anyone at the school, but she's here to give out hugs.
"Give her a hug," says Julia as she hugs one of the students. "I just want to hug them because I have three kids.
Then there's Adam Potash in Delray Beach.
"What can I do to help? I can do food," said Potash.
He is a chef and decided to start cooking meals for the victims families.
"Just a simple meal to help them get something, get them through the tough times knowing that the community is there for them," said Potash.
Simple, but impactful.
