School buses were rolling through Martin County Monday morning. About 20,000 students returned to the classroom.

At Anderson Middle School in Stuart the principal may be the most excited person in the building.

“There’s an energy that’s lost out of the building when the teachers and kids aren’t here, so I love the day they come back. It’s really exciting,” said Anderson Middle School Principal Tim Aitken.

Anderson Middle School is changing its schedule this year. Now students will spend more time on math and English.
