Capital One experienced technical trouble Friday.
In a tweet Friday morning the bank said some customers were experiencing an online outage preventing some of them from accessing their accounts, and impacting direct deposits.
It being a Friday, often a payday, and the first of the month, some customers responded to the tweet saying they've already been notified about automated payments bouncing.
Capital One said "We are actively working to resolve the issue and restore all services. We greatly apologize for the inconvenience."
According to USA TODAY, the Capital One website experienced an outage Sunday, too.
Capital One is experiencing a technical issue impacting customer money movement, including direct deposits, and the ability for some customers to access accounts. We are actively working to resolve the issue and restore all services. We greatly apologize for the inconvenience.
