'Touch disease' causing iPhones to become unresponsive

A new report warns iPhone 6 and 6 Plus users of a threat to their phones.

Phone repair firm IFIXIT confirmed a number of complaints about failing touchscreens called "touch disease."

The problem occurs when users notice a flickering grey bar at the top of the screen and then find it completely unresponsive.

Repair specialists say it's just a matter of time before nearly all 6 models experience the issue.

Some media outlets are reporting that Apple will fix the problem if your phone is under warranty.
