Making your own household cleaners can really save you some money not always time when it comes to making it. How about trying your own homemade dishwashing detergent?

I found this incredibly simple and inexpensive recipe to make your dishwashing detergent to use in the dishwasher. It has only three ingredients and takes three minutes to make.

All you need is Borax laundry booster, Arm & Hammer Super wash and LemiShine.

The LemiShine gives your dishes a lemony smell. If you do not have it on you can substitute unsweetened lemonade.

How to make:

Get a container with a tight lid to store the dishwashing detergent.

Add 2 cups of Borax, 2 cups of Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda and 4 tablespoons of LemiShine or unsweetened lemonade.

Place it in the container and it close tightly and shake to mix everything together and viola you are all done.

To use fill your dishwasher with 2 tablespoons of the homemade detergent.

I have used this homemade recipe ad really likes how it cleaned my dishes. NO spot and clean dishes just like a detergent should work except this one cost me a lot less.

All of the ingredients cost less than $12 and should be able to make at least 3 or more batches. Huge savings and it took minutes to make.
