(NBC) - The maker of Tide Pods says just one pod may not be enough to get your laundry clean.
According to a report by the Wall Street Journal, Proctor & Gamble is changing recommendations for a clean load when using Tide pods.
Some loads may require two or even three pods because what customers perceive as a large load may really be an extra-large load.
Washing machines can be as much as 30 percent larger today than they were when Tide Pods were first introduced in 2012, making the pods less effective when using just one.
