Police posted on their Facebook page Monday that “if you love them enough to lick their pacifiers clean, then make sure they're in the right car seat.”
It’s part of a national campaign by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The NHTSA says children usually grow out of a booster seat between 8 and 12 years old.
Parents should keep their children in booster seats until they outgrow the size limits of the booster seats or are big enough to fit properly in seat belts.
