Linden's issues allergy alert on undeclared milk in cookies

Linden Cookies, Inc. is recalling fully baked Linden’s Chocolate Chip Cookies because they contain undeclared milk.

The Linden’s Chocolate Chip Cookies were distributed to wholesalers in Florida, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts.

The following Linden Chocolate Chip Cookies are affected:

  1. 2 oz., Mini Chocolate Chippers
  • UPC: 76809-30017
  • Sell By Dates: Feb. 8, 2017 through March 28, 2017
  1. 1.1 oz. Mini Chocolate Chippers
  • UPC: 76809-30090
  • Sell By Dates: Feb. 8, 2017 through March 28, 2017
  1. 1.75 oz., 3 Large Chocolate Chip Pack
  • UPC: 76809-30010
  • Sell By Dates: Dec. 14, 2016 through Feb 01, 2017

The Sell by Dates are found on the front of the package.

The company has not received any confirmed reports of illnesses to date.

The recall was initiated after being notified by the bulk chocolate chip manufacturer that the raw ingredient contains undeclared milk.

Consumers who purchased the above listed cookies are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
