Drivers could soon be paying up to 70 cents more at the pump, according to AAA.
A year ago the average price of gas in Florida was $1.70, now the average price of gas is $2.28.

Prices tend to go up during the spring because refineries switch to more expensive blends of gas. The change causes a decrease in supply and results in more demand.
AAA reports February’s prices were the highest in three years, but they predict it won't reach 2013's levels, which were around $3.70.
To save money on gas, you should drive slow and steady, monitor when and how you brake and avoid gas stations near the highway.
