A popular health insurance plan leaving patients with a headache.
"We've had four appointments and four cancelations," explained Dan Peloff. "This is really affecting people. It's not just a mistake. It has real life implications and it's maddening."
Patients furious. Doctors not happy either. The Consumer Watchdog looks into the problem.
"This is my primary care physician for the last 20 years," Peloff said showing us him on the list of providers on the insurance company's website. "He's the reason I got the insurance."
Peloff was able to see that doctor once, but then couldn't make an appointment for his wife because the insurance was no longer accepted.
"I'm stuck in this for a year, but doctors are not," Peloff explained.
