What do moms really want for Mother's Day?

It seems moms aren't that difficult to please. On Mother's Day, they'd just like to sit down for dinner with their kids.

A recent survey of mothers, conducted by DIY Father and ProFlowers, asked what gifts they wanted most on Mother's Day. The answers were sweet, if predictable.

Of those asked, 36 percent of moms claimed to want a homemade gift from their offspring; that was the top answer, narrowly edging out dinner, which was the top desire of 34.8 percent of those surveyed.

Rounding out the top five most-wanted gifts for Mother's Day 2015 were greeting cards, gift cards and flowers. Also on the list were books, clothing and a trip to the spa.

Proving a distinct difference in taste between moms and dads, the least-requested gift for women surveyed was electronics (3.4 percent). Electronics were voted the most-desired gift for dads in a recent Father's Day survey conducted by eBates.com.
