In the 40 years that “Saturday Night Live” has been on the air, seven different presidents have lived in the White House. All of them were lampooned at some point by the cast members of NBC’s iconic sketch comedy series.

Presidential impressions have become as much a part of “SNL” history as the host’s opening monologue, but not all imitations were created equal. Who did your favorite presidential impression in the show’s history?

We’ve selected six of the most memorable ones for your consideration. Click each name to see his impression.

Dan Aykroyd as Richard Nixon

Phil Hartman as Ronald Reagan

Dana Carvey as George H.W. Bush

Darrell Hammond as Bill Clinton

Will Ferrell as George W. Bush

Jay Pharoah as Barack Obama
